Camera Buying Philosophy with Today's Rapidly Changing Technology
11 months ago

I purchased a Honeywell Pentax Spotmatic and several lenses in 1969. It was not until 36 years later, in 2005, that I stopped using this great 35mm film camera. I had considered it a splurge but knew I was probably buying years of great performance and it worked out great. Now, I'm in the market for a digital camera where I can change lenses. After hours of reading various reviews and opinions in forums I'm coming to the conclusion that in today's throw away society, I'd be foolish to buy anything beyond an entry level dslr or mirrorless (APS-C or m4/3) because any camera purchase I make today will be obsolete in several years. Unless one can afford a big dollar purchase every few years, I don't see any other reasonable way to go. Comments?
