Recently I purchased ColorMunki Photo calibration device and tried it with 3 different softwares - original ColorMunki, Eizo Easypix2 (probably usable with Eizo monitors only) and ArgyllCMS (with DispcalGUI user interface). I cannot compare the quality of produced monitor profiles, they all are sure sufficient enough, just my impression from working with them when profiling my monitor - not yet tried printer profiling.
ColorMunki and Easypix2 are simple and comfortable with very few settings possible, but both use a small amount of color patches. ArgyllCMS has more options, uses more color patches (takes more time), but gives many information about the monitor and its profile. Looks like it is, or at least may be, more precise than the other two. Has anybody any experience with it?
