CIF Question

I have been using a Hellios 58mm/f2.0 lens on K10d with CIF by shorting the pins with aluminium foil
.

This weekend I tried for first time to use the same lens and my K135mm/f2.5 lens on my K5ii. I fitted Hellios (w. M42 to K adaptor) on K5ii, but the camera fired the shutter every time I fully pressed the shutter button.

Settings:

S-AF

center AF point

CIF enabled in menu

Am I missing sth here?. Maybe I have not twisted the lens all the way? Any ideas.

I did not try the K lens as I must be out of the range of AF-FA adjustment. On my K10d this lens needs -130..-140, so I predict a number of ~-24-25 for K5ii, based on the differences my other lenses have.
