Apps should add features, not take them away!

Don't get me wrong, I love my A7r.  In fact, I've got two so that I can have two lenses at ready.

I also have a couple apps.  I use the remote control app allot.  It provides some nice features, even nicer with the most recent update.

However, it also takes away most of the built in features.  Yikes!  Worse, it does not use your prior settings as defaults when you enter the app.  Double Yikes!

Haven't Sony developers heard of inheritance?  It was introduced decades ago as the cornerstone for object oriented programming.  Apps should inherit the entire existing menu system and have access to user settings.

C'mon Sony, this is lame!
