Old Canon 20D shutter button problem - solved!
2

I have an old 20D that I still pull out to use occasionally, and over the past year the shutter button has been getting more erratic; sometimes it would take 2 or 3 presses to fire, and sometimes the half-press wouldn't work.

I got estimates of $300 for sending it in to Canon for repairs - and thought there might be a better way… After searching YouTube, I found a simple video using isopropyl alcohol… and it worked.

Thought I'd share it here as it saved a huge amount of time and money!
