What do you carry for a back-up camera?

One of the most common refrains among photographers is that "X would make a good back-up camera."  This is most-frequently employed when discussing advanced compacts like the Canon G15 or Olympus XZ-2.

This got me wondering whether people actually carry back-up cameras and, if so, which one.

I'm not talking about second bodies, but rather "in a pinch" cameras that you carry in case your primary system fails, you need to loan a camera to someone you're traveling with, etc.

I like to carry a back-up camera for serious field work, but I'll admit that I tend to be a bit flaky about which one.  I've gone from a Canon S95 to a Nikon P7700 to, now, a Pentax MX-1.  I find that 1/1.7" sensors are good enough to get the job done when they need to.

What about you?
