Here's one I did a while back that impressed me. It was with a pretty horrific A-mount zoom. It seems to have a lot of spherical aberration, and purpleness around many edges.

Lightroom was able to turn it from a heavily flawed mess into something that looked like it came from a far better lens (I used clarity, fringe reduction, contrast, sharpening and highlight adjustments).

Somewhere in the fixed up image is a false black area on the right edge of the red pulley that's an artefact of the purple fringe reduction process, so my advice is to apply it locally with a brush where needed.
