F1.2 Battle: Panasonic Nocticron 42,5mm vs Fujinon 56mm
Jan 7, 2014

I switched from Olympus OM-D to Fuji mainly because of the lens roadmap (23, 35 and now 56mm), great sensor (even though bloggers like Steve Huff do not like the X-Trans) and retro/practical design of the body.

With the 56mm f1.2 Fuji gave us the possibility to go with our passion even further.

But m4/3 system is caching up. First with the Olympus E-M1, in short times Panasonic 4K and now with the Panasonic Nocticron 42,5mm f1.2

This battle between mirror less camera producers is good for us, the consumers even though they are not cheap.

One of the main features of this new Panasonic lens is the image stabilisation (useful for Panasonic users and not Olympus).

It would be nice to have this on Fuji but... maybe the new X-Pro2 body.
