New Alpha 5000 - strange naming convention?
1

I was expecting the x000 names to be for a range of DLSR shaped E-mount bodies, starting with the A3000.

This announcement seems on the contrary to imply that the A3000 is simply the base model in a range which it appears will be primarily NEX style bodies.

I presume the Alpha 7000 will be next and will possibly replace both the NEX-6 and NEX-7.
