Nikon Shooting Technique?
Dec 29, 2013

All, D90 hobbyist trying to get better and request your opinions / recommendations.

I just  recently read on the internet (so it must be accurate ) that a good shooting technique is to set the AE/AF button for AF On, with settings of AF-C, and dynamic area.

focus with AE/AF button, release and recompose or shoot - or, if subject moving continue to press the AE/AF button, and shoot - and manual focus is always available.

The theory is that you have static/continuous/manual all set up without leaving the viewfinder.

Is this technique of any benefit?  Any cons / risks?

Thanks for feedback.
