Is there such a thing as a "noisy" camera body copy?

I recently bought the 6D to replace my 60D and the picture quality is outstanding. The noise levels in RAW is better, as expected, but I do wonder if the levels I see in the photos I've taken at relatively low ISO (800-1600) are normal. The noise reduction is turned off, I shoot in RAW mode, and process in Lightroom 4.4. So, question is - can one 6D body be in any way a faulty copy that generates too much noise?
