Opinions on Hoya ND-400?

I have a 77mm medium zoom lens that I'm looking to pick up a neutral density filter for. I want to blur clouds and steams/waterfalls in the daylight on a tripod, so I'm thinking 9 or 10 stops.

how is this one? http://www.adorama.com/HY77ND400.html

I have a couple of B+Ws filters (one clear and one CPL), but it seems like they cost 2x more for a similar ND filter and its only single coated. I am of the general impression that multicoated filters are always better but I have never used an ND before. I have B+W Kaesseman CPL and if I understand that correct it has 8x coating (on each side?) which adds to durability, flare resistance, and smudge resistance. I am not as much a brand loyalist as a pragmatist. I'm willing to spend good money on a filter that will last a lifetime but don't want to spend more than I have to.

Thanks.
