easiest PP software for a beginner?

A friend wants to get into a little bit of post-processing and asked me if there's a "software for dummies" out there.  I've been using Photoshop almost exclusively for years and I really have no idea if there's anything out there that would be easy for a novice to use.  If it helps, for the shots I've fixed up for him, I was able to get results he liked almost exclusively with Adobe Camera Raw.
Suggestions would be appreciated but he really does need simple.
