Has Tamron fixed the 24-70 aperature issue where there is no difference in aperature between f2.8-f5.6? I've gone through two different lens - same issue.

Tamron won't acknowledge the issue and said they never heard about it (i bet.. not).

I  read about this after I bought my copy and was worried about my copy.

I went through 3 copies of this lens and none of them exhibit this, from what I read this was early production issue and have been corrected on newer batch.

If Tamron won't acknowledge your copy just take multiple images from 2.8 to 5.6 and adjust the ISO or SS and show them that the histogram would be different when it should be the same and they should replace or fix your copy
