Are D700 owners buying Df? or D800?

I am D700 + handgrip MB-D10 owner. Only take family photos.
Very proud of low light ability when I got D700 around 2009.
Got the usual suspect of Nikon lens.

A bit disappointed that the D4 sensor is not huge improvement above the D3s.
Dislike the D800 slightly for the lower frame rate compared to D700+grip.
The image seems less "professional", less "sporty". This is minor.
The real deterrant was the Left AF issue.
Now, I do regret not buying it. On second thought, I don't think a Left AF is really an issue for me.
Emotionally, I didn't want to risk buying a defective product.
Now.... I do regret not buying the D800...
It does seem a bit late now, to buy a D800. Or is it?

The Df....
I like the retro design. Just like the my father's first Minolta DG2 manual camera
I used in 1980s.

No built in flash is a big drawback. People are entitled to the opinion that professional cameras do not have built in flash.
But I do not agree. Even my smart phone has a flash. And the built in Flash is so useful in D700.

I am also using a compact Nikon P7700, that has a hotshoe for my flash SB800. It is very good. I thought that P7700 with flash would be as good as a D700 with flash. Not quite. If opened to 100%, it's still different. More blurring in the P7700.

Probably it is best to continue using D700. Maybe buy a D4x when it arrives (but that may not
have  a built in flash). If there is a D4s, that's even better!

The question is for D700 owners.

What did you buy, or plan to buy?

D800? Df?
