I am exposing a RAW photo by thinking what is the most important subject in scene. For example if there is lighted face agaisnt dark background I would underexposure. Absolutely not ETTR.

RAW dynamic range is also not so good what people think. You must still watch highlight clipping. There is more often important picture information in highlights and eye is too more sensitive to highlights than shadows. So there is some arguments against ETTR.
