No, three lenses doesn't prove anything, but these images are troubling. And denial won't solve any problems, either.

agree. and overblowing things in every 12-40 thread won't do any good, either. At least so far with few (1 or 3, doesn't matter) warranty-covered isolated incidents.

Then there's the dichotomy between Oly's claims of "all metallic construction" and the reality of an all plastic lens with a thin metal shell over the plastic.

a marketing gaffe and nothing else imo
