A portrait for our times?

OK, I'll get my excuses in first. I'm not, as a rule, into taking portrait shots. Wildlife, in particular birds, is my thing. But today I was sitting at home with my daughter, the daylight was fading and the only light in the room was from the Christmas tree lights and the fire.

Like most teenagers these days, my daughter spends an inordinate amount of time on her mobile phone. The light from the screen was illuminating her face, and I thought that this was somehow a fitting source of light for a contemporary portrait.

Anyway, this was taken with the EM-1 and the 45mm f1.8, wide open at 1600 ISO. I converted to mono because this seemed appropriate to the cold light of the mobile screen, added a little Gaussian blur then a little sharpening around the eyes and mouth.

I'd be interested in people's opinions ... good or bad.
