RX100II/RX100M2.. Soft pictures at F1.8?

Hey everyone.

So I've been using my RX100II for awhile, and while the threads about slow shutter speeds don't affect me too much, I've bumped into another issue.

Now, I bought this camera for it's low light capabilities. So far, it hasn't disappointed. However, an issue i realized is that almost all my pictures at F1.8, yes even the centers, are really soft.

The issue doesn't appear to be present if I use F5, in fact at F5, it's very sharp even without any +sharpening.

I shoot in JPEG and DRO is off.

I'm not as happy with my low light pics due to so many of them coming out soft. Is there a way to test and see if this is a real issue?

Sony RX100
