Can someone please confirm the AEB on D5300?
I was looking at the Nikon D5300. It says it can shoot an EV range of +-2 in 1/3 or 1/2 EV steps. I am a little confused what this means. Does it mean I can shoot 3 frames at +2, 0 and -2 in one shot? Can someone please confirm? (I think the D5100 and D5200 have similar AEB).-- hide signature --
A good photo is 1% equipment and 99% the person behind the lens

Yes...Up to 3 shot bracket in a interval range of .3 to 2 EV ....so you can do -2, 0, +2 exposure bracket. First shot is as set (including EC) then the next shot is with the bracketing interval subtracted from that and the third shot with bracketing interval added to first shot exposure setting. So if you have +1 set for EC (exposure compensation) and your interval set to 1.5 EV... your first shot will +1 EV and the second frame will be -.5 EV and third will be +2.5 EV for (-.5, +1, +2.5)
My opinions are my own and not those of DPR or its administration. They carry no 'special' value (except to me and Lacie of course)
