Yes. While there is certainly subjectivity in appreciation of art, there is a difference in not "liking" something and not "getting" it because of lack of education and experience, as you say, and ignorance. To look at a Picasso or a Monet and say "It doesn't look good", or to say a Charlie Parker solo has "too many notes" exhibits ignorance, not an opinion.
