Genuine question, regarding the benefit of mirrorless ff
4 months ago

I understand the benefit of a full frame mirrorless with a compact prime lens, i do, but any decent zoom, or telephoto prime lens is bulky. And these form the bulk of that the majority use.  The problem that i see is that negates the benefit of the small size of the camera, and hanging say a 70-200 2.8 or even a 24-70 2.8 off the front makes the ergonomics and balance horrid.

On top of this you loose OVF and top quality af.

a crop sensor mirrerless i can understand, because you can make smaller lenses for people who are happy to sacrifice some IQ and DOF for size,, but FF puzzles me. With all the buzz about the sony ff cameras, and talk of this being the "new thing" am i missing something??
