I now know that this gen of this lens has a bad mechanical reliability history. Wish i knew that before. It is confirmed.

To note though unfortunately that the Sigma (Germany & Greece) claims towards myself as also of Sigma UK to another owner mentioned somewhere in the links above are an insult to both client intelligence and to Sigma reputation resulting due to the nature of the market (expensive objects, high reliability demands, difficult to ship / repair etc) in permanent avoidance of this maker.
