Batteries on ebay

I have seen lots of aftermarket replacement lithium-ion batteries on ebay that are advertised to be a replacement for the BP-511 which is the battery for the G1, G2, G3, D60, and several other cameras. These batteries can be purchased for around $13 plus shipping which is less than half what I see simliar aftermarket batteries going for on the battery web sites.
Has anyone bought such a cheap battery on ebay, and if so is it working OK? These batteries seem to fall into the "If is sounds too good to be true..." category!
