My 14 -150 will always be a keeper as a travel lens no matter what other lenses I will get. Plus unlike some other comments mine is very sharp.

Daryl, I have to agree with you, I have the 12-40, but I find myself putting my 14-150 on my EM1 and using it quite often when I am out hiking, and when I am doing some event shooting. I find my 14-150 to be very sharp and I get nice images from it. I also put my 75-300 on as well when I am hiking and it is needed.

It is possible the occasional negative comments about the 14-150 come from people who do not own the lens and have preconceptions about the quality of super zooms. Then again it may be copy variations? I find it locks focus onto birds better than my 75-300 mk II and I tend to use it more lately and use the 2x multiplier. This feature makes me keen for the new 40-150 f2.8 - anyway I am getting off topicĀ
