The Lightroom RC isn't broken, it just has a terrible color profile.  If you do a custom profile of your X-E2, the purple problem goes away entirely.  It's simply a bad color profile.  You can replace this yourself using something like the Color Checker Passport (which I wholeheartedly recommend.)  I got mine when I got a GH2, and it had a greenish cast to the RAW images.  Custom profile and perfect colors.  Most of the Adobe profiles are only so-so, though most don't have blotching issues like this.

I do hope the final release of 5.3 has a color profile that at the very least doesn't go wacky on the magenta, but it isn't really a broken part of the program, but whoever profiled the camera was just a dope.  Not sure why they can't do a proper color calibration.
