For those of you who don't have Aperture, should try iPhoto, I think they have the same engine.

Here's another recommendation for iPhoto. I was a JPEG shooter for the past 10 years, then I had a shoot where a few important shots were badly overexposed.

I had been shooting in RAW+JPEG that day — and the amount of recovery I could do in a simple program like iPhoto was amazing. JPEGs of the same shots didn't have the same recovery and skin looked burned.

For Apple users who are sitting on the fence of trying RAW, I say just try it out. Uploading takes more time, but many of my RAW shots are close to done when I open them up in iPhoto. It's not as fiddly as some people fear.
