in simplest terms, the m43 system just isn't built/marketed for this type of photography.  most of the lens lineup is geared towards the wide and normal end and the options for telephotography are limited.

but now that it seems Olympus is moving away from their DSLRs, perhaps we'll see more development into high end telephoto options for m43.

also, 600mm eq. is limiting?  what are you shooting?
