As I have said, it's not just general noise reduction, it's specifically noise reduction on skin. It could possibly be the colors or the fact that the X100s and X-E1 have face recognition ability, but the NR on faces is far far far too much. Everything else is as you;d expect from XT sensor, very well done.

I expect some NR in Jpegs, but not to this degree, not any camera I have ever owned obliterates skin like this..

I guess you need to shoot it yourself to see.
