I agree, the question for me is: is it any less on the X-E2?  The X-E1 IMHO has a bit too much for it to be useful for shooting rapidly changing subjects.  I'm not expecting performance like my D3s, but I honestly believe that it could be better.  And I'm sure I read that Fuji improved it for another X camera recently.

I asked quite specific questions of the other two posters because I want to make sure we're all talking about the same thing - pure shutter lag.
