I am struggling to believe how good this lens is. Yes, I know it's more than the Sigma 35mm F1.4 and is therefore very expensive, but the performance is amazing. Sharp in the corners, crisp everywhere and with amazingly good bokeh.

No decent demo pics (been raining a lot recently) but just the few test shots I managed are superb. I have no doubt this would work just as well on a new 24MP sensor (if the Xpro2 has one) but in any event it requires almost no sharpening at all.

For the first time I think my 18-55 looks soft. Not even sure about the 35.

Comparing with all the shots from other primes over the years, there is no comparison. I cannot find a fault with this lens. Colour, contrast, sharpness, total lack of CA, minor vignetting.... incredible.

Fuji is the poor man's Leica OK, except that you don't lose anything. If the 55 is this good, it will be the best portrait lens ever.
