Nikon mimicking Canon with the Retro Nikon Df camera...

Just like Nikon mimicked Canon's 12mp FF 5D success number with the FF 12mp D700, Nikon again is mimicking Canon, releasing a retro FF DSLR model of their own.

Canon went back to their rich past with a retro camera, the successful Canon EOS 6D. It takes its styling cues from the 1980's camera T90.
