I cant help but see that the market leader in mirrorless, Olympus, has US$240m of mirrorless sales while Olympus's imaging division lost US$240m last year.

One really finds it hard to imagine just how many years of mirrorless sales it would take to make up for the loss of last year alone.

You have to have more detailed information before interpreting those numbers. Many large companies use accounting tricks to show large losses year after year (to reduce or avoid taxes), but are actually making significant profits.

I'm also curious what the actual results are for these various companies' camera divisions, but it's very difficult to figure out.

I am fully aware of Olympus's results - I have read at least their past 5 years annual reports.

Perhaps you are trying to make a joke - in which case quite funny I guess. If you are serious, you are incredibly ignorant of Olympus's track record. FYI Olympus actually 'still' understates the losses from its imaging division.
