Please Help with this one issue
Oct 29, 2013

I love my EOS-M, but there's one issue that's driving me crazy, and there doesn't seem to be a solution:  Can I set the camera to center-point focus like a rebel or any other DSLR?

I realize I can set it on center focus by default, but accidentally touching the screen anywhere makes the focal point change.  Obviously the touch screen is meant to be interactive for focusing, and it comes in handy.  But what about turning off the touch-screen for focus and just have it always on center-point?

The reason it's frustrating is that, as mentioned, I can pull out my camera, turn it on (knowing it will be on centerpoint focus), but if any part of my body accidentally touches the screen in any spot, the focal point jumps and the focus shifts.  This makes it difficult to hold the camera firmly as I then must use one of my hands to put the focus back to the center.

Any ideas?
