I posted a truly exceptional image produced by a Sigma camera showing the amazing image quality that is possible with the unique Foveon sensor it uses and what do I get in response, a bunch of detractors talking about Nyqvist frequency, anti-aliasing, and zooming into images well beyond 100% hoping to find defects.

Really??

Here's another image from that Sigma camera. Good luck trying to produce that with a Bayer sensor camera.

I don't see what merrits this photo has that should be troubling to "reproduce" with a bayer array?

Then either your monitor is lousy and/or your vision is not very good.

I take it you also think the other sample I posted can be reproduced with a Bayer sensor camera too?

I mean, aside from the murky contrast, the uninspired subject and the pincusion distortion of the lens used.

The picture wasn't posted as an example of inspiration from a subject.

Seriously, you are just pathetic in your grasping for straws for your dying pet camera system.

Sounds to me like you want that "camera system" to die. Who talks like that otherwise?
