Is it obvious how to do this? I just got my new/first tripod and it came with a tube of lubricating something and no instructions. I'm with you guys, I use my stuff.

Mine had no disassembly instructions; but I figured it out. On my Sirui CF I simply unscrew the leg locks all the way and then slide the leg out.

But beware: on my tripod at least, there were a couple of very small pieces that very loosely fit into the top of the leg section. These pieces seemed hand fitted so that they wouldn't fit on a different leg. So make sure you don't lose them and that you know which leg they came from. I don't know if this is a common design practice or something unique to the Sirui line.
