We can play the lens size game all day but the reality is that IF you have a need or would benefit even only part of the time from the advantages that the A7/r sensor offers then you can find lenses that give you quite a compact package as well.  Sure, there are times that you can't have your cake and eat it too but you can get pretty close with the A7/r if you try.   And there is no reason to try if you never have a need for full frame.

So, for those that argue that you have everything you need with m4/3 and you don't need to ever mount a full frame or APS-C lens then the whole discussion is irrelevant for you anyway but not all m4/3 owners or potential buyers fit into that category.
