Hi,
Congratulations with your new camera I had the rx100 mk2 for a week but was able to return it and get a g6. Conclusions so far:
- focusing is a lot better on g6 (esp low light)
- exchangable lenses has opened a new world to me
- dynamic range of rx100 was fantastic (given enough light)
- high iso on g6 is less noisy
- wifi is actually usable on the g6
- the handling/menus of the rx100 is not to my liking

I hope you do not regret your choice. I am happy with mine at least.

Hi,

I am happy with the GF6. I forgot to mention that I intended to acquire additional lens(es) for the GF6, may be the 25mm 1.4 first.

What I meant in my first post is that buying the GF6 with the kit lens alone (without acquiring additional lens in the future) probably won't be a very good idea.

I think that's a reasonable suggestion, that could apply even to a lot of people who buy DSLR and never swap the kit lens (and/or end up not using it much).

Yes, in that case many times it is better to just acquire a fixed lens camera at a lower price or a more capable fixed lens camera at the same price range.
