Labyrinth seal? lol, your photos shows a pretty straightforward construction.

A Labyrinth seal it a pretty straightforward thing.

Inexpert opinion? Who do you think you are?

Someone qualified to talk about this.

It's already well known the E-M1 is rain and freeze proof and not just some marketing BS, there's plenty of (video) evidence of it already that is easily found with Google:

But I can't find videos of people dropping or hitting their E-M1 like you can sometimes find with the D3 or the D4. Not yet anyway.

None of that means much. You can drop most cameras or take them out in the pouring rain and get away with it. But sometimes you don't. A video of the time someone got away with it proves nothing.

So what proves "it"?

Apparently, random people, and representatives of the company itself, deliberately soaking a camera and letting it freeze into a block of ice is just them getting "lucky". Every single time.

I've taken risks with a few shots in the rain with a non-weather-sealed camera. I would never push it to the point of partially immersing it in water for a while, letting lie there under a running tap for a nice weekly shower and just zooming in and out at the same time just as icing on the cake.

You're a funny chap nonetheless.
