Below are two shot from different lenses, same camera, same subject, conditions and processing, optimal aperture (F4.5). Blurring (shutter shock and stuff) is excluded, you can see that both images are reasonably sharp.

A bit different angle (intentionally, so it would be harder to figure out which lens is where). Resized to 12 MP for the same reason. Camera is E-PL5, focused at farthest point.

Vote on how you estimate differences between lenses. These are two relatively popular m4/3 lenses and questions about choosing one vs another are frequent, so this test is relevant.

Some time next week I will post a more detailed comparison between these two lenses. I think, the results of blind test will be an essential addition to that comparison.

Second lens

"A bit better" is defined as an ability to print about 10-15% larger photo (in linear dimension), perhaps some other subtle advantages. Everything beyond that qualifies for "a lot better".
