The first camera I tried, that really caused a serious, permanent interest in photography, was a Nikon D300s that my wife used at work, which was issued to her by her employer. I had owned and used many cheap film cameras, since about 1975, the best of which was probably a Kyocera T4.

Once the spark ignited with the D300s, I used a Canon XTi, which my wife had bought, pre-owned, from a co-worker. I then bought my own pre-owned XTi. (400D)

I wear a badge and pistol, and, primarily with 7D cameras, with 10-22mm and 100mm Macro L lenses, shoot evidentiary images at night, which incorporates elements of portrait, macro, still life, landscape, architecture, PJ, and occasional action.
