It wasn't a camera that sparked my interest. It was reading LIFE, LOOK, and National Geographic as a youngster. The LIFE magazine issue featuring the Zapruder images really clinched it. That was almost 50 years ago.

To say a camera could spark interest in photography is an indication that it's not creating or capturing images that interests a person...but a love for gadgets. Nothing wrong with that, but the camera lust comes after the love of photography.
