We will be in Lofoten, Norway and Iceland next month. What is the most recommended lens for Aurora Borealis Canon 14mm f2.8L or Canon 24mm f1.4L II? During daylight landscape shoot same question 14mm or 24mm?

You'll be able to get good results with either of the lenses you mention. It probably comes down more to your shooting style than one lens being better suited than the other.

I was in Finland a few days ago taking aurora photos with my 16-35 f/2.8L and 5D mark III. The speed of the lens was fine, however for some of the shots I would have liked to have an even wider angle than 16mm. Other shots I took at the 35mm end of the range, and in a couple of cases I even switched over to using my 24-105L.

Here's a shot I took on Tuesday - 35mm, f/2.8, 20 seconds, ISO 6400: https://plus.google.com/104380036950579300637/posts/46bqUZBTRB5
