We have known this for some time. The Obuma administration was obviously lying (what they do best) now there is proof. People need to go to jail over this.

According to this article this was an "exchange of private information."

I downloaded and read the E-mails. It consists entirely of a discussion of how to combat ALL claims of conscience by Corporations and the non religious business companies of Churches in their attempt to avoid paying for contraceptive devices. In order for them to "break the law" they would have to discuss the private data of these entities, and how they are doing this or that activity which can be used against them.

No such discussion came up. What was discussed was the general question and how to fight the general question in Court. Basically, all they talked about was public information.

So what is your proposed charge? The Obama Administration discussed public information?

I guess you not aware about this IRS section....

"Section 6103 of the IRS code prohibits federal employees from “disclos[ing] any return or return information obtained by him in any manner in connection with his service as such an officer or an employee.”

That's why I READ the e-mails, in order to find that information being shared with the administration. I couldn't find ANY information about returns.

Look, it would be very SIMPLE to prove me wrong. Post the information about a taxpayers return. Posting the name of a taxpayer is public information, not private.

Come on Chat, Do you really think they will show the original copies to the media? and do you think king Obama or his WH advisers will accept redacted copies?

What is the purpose of running a story about the "smoking gun" and then they POSTED the smoking gun, and it comes up empty?

Look, those redacted parts of the mail show only the institutions name, that's why they were blacked out, but nothing ELSE was redacted. So, when you look at the e-mail, you can fill in the blank with any name you want to. There's nothing in the E-mails about private information.

So what you are REALLY saying, like it or not, There is no story, nothing to see, no crime, no nothing.

do you understand "any return or return information" even just the name of the institution....?

Then the IRS is guilty of a crime by publicly listing every tax paying institution in the country, which they do! And always have been gulity

Look Princess are you saying all the above just to look stupid?

What the pwincess is saying, in essence, is that if a tax return lands on an auditors desk, that auditor can't ask the opinion of another auditor regarding the validity of a claim on the return because it would be disclosing return information.

Once again, all the pwincess has done is prove how very stupid he (it?) is
