As I said "SLR format" Size and handeling wise.. I would suspect there are no more DSLR cameras coming from sony it would be step backward as the mirror is a vestage of older technology. May be one more round of SLTs then it will be mirrorless all the way and any system will support a-mount.

Mirrorless is even way older technology than SLR if you want to talk about a vestage of older technology. Rangefinder cameras were also replaced by the much better SLR system.  Soon the mirrorless will learn why.

There WERE many good reasons for top level gear not to have a mirror. Sony has removed all but one auto focus speed. and when at-the-sensor AF is able to create speeds matching dedicated focus sensors mirrorless will be the preference of advanced shooting because it removes issues of back focus

By far the majority of upper level pro photos are taken with DSLRs, and guess what? They are in focus and the pros have no trouble doing that with DSLRs.  It's inexperienced beginners that think it needs a P&S or rangefinder style camera to get things in focus.
