The real issue here is that of poor X-trans processing in Lightroom 5.2.

Lightroom 5.2 seems to give much better results with X-A1 files than those from the X-E1. Both Photo Ninja and Iridient Developer give much better results, IMO, but this requires a different workflow which for some of us can be time consuming and inconvenient.

Btw, while Photo Ninja can process X-A1 files, the results seem particularly bad even compared to Lightroom 5.2's preliminary support.

To my eyes, the Lightroom 5.2 result with X-A1 is comparable to the Photo Ninja result from the X-E1 - using the Bayer CFA X-A1 allows me to stick to my normal workflow which is simpler and faster (for me) for the same result.

Using the X-Trans X-E1 means that I have to change my workflow by using a separate converter, generate additional files which need to be imported into Lightroom if I want to use my LR plug-ins and add-ons to end up with the same result (with no appreciable difference for me).
