Converting anaglyph to half-color-anaglyph?

Is it possible to convert (red-cyan) anaglyph image into half-color-anaglyph? Preferably in StereoPhotoMaker.

The program (StereoPhotoMaker) does enable the relevant command (menu-item, button), but choosing the type of anaglyph doesn't make any difference. E.g. when the input image is color anaglyph, output as color-anaglyph, half-color-anaglyph and optimized-anaglyph all look the same.

Is there a workaround for this?
