All is relative and depends on what you shoot. When I go taking picture of kids at their (many) parties, I can go with the panasonics 14 2.5 and 20 1.7 wide open, iso 800/1600 and still grab most kids into focus. My friend with the Nikon d700 on similar FL has to close down to at least f5.6. Unless you exploit small dof on a regular basis, even the advantages of the newer FF cameras over m43 wouldn't be ALWAYS usable
