E-system will live - Olympus is still pushing E-system lens as of today

Looks like E-system will live, at least for some time into the future, as Olympus is still pushing E-system lens as of today. How do I know? I got an email from Olympus today titled "Fall Savings on E-System Lenses". As a reputable company (minus their financial screw ups), I don't think they would use this "spam" opportunity on something they do not intend to keep pushing. Granted that spamming is cheap, but it still means something from a company that's not known for spamming.

They pushed 50/f2, 35/f3.5, 70-300, 12-60swd and mentioned u4/3 lens and EM1 at the end, but E-system lenses were clearly the main push.

Maybe they just want to clean out their left-over E-lenses? Their pricing (always stinks) certainly does not show that clue (50/f2 $449.99, 12-60 $949.99).

Well, if Olympus does not put PDAF into lower-end u4/3 cameras (bad Olympus, bad, bad, bad), keeping these "small" 4/3 lenses is a good idea for the high-end u4/3 market. Who knows?
