BTW, colleagues from local forum checked their K5II with compatible batteries which has voltage about 8.0-8.1V, and their cameras worked well. My battery (original) had 7,9V and didn't turn on.

Interesting.

But voltage at open contacts of a battery doesn't tell too much. As soon as there is a load to it, it may be quite different. That's why Dale could set up the very interesting case of measuring the voltages (in EXIF) with a battery which blocks the K-5 II.

I checked this info on 1.04 RAW. It's show

Body Battery Voltage 1 : 4.41 V
Body Battery Voltage 2 : 6.72 V
Body Battery Voltage 3 : 4.13 V
Body Battery Voltage 4 : 0.01 V

Till now I never saw a voltage close to 0 (zero).

The lowest I have seen are about 6.5V on my K-5 and K-5 II, but may be I'm wrong and didn't just notice. But 0.01V ??? That doesn't seem to be reasonable.

Anyhow, your's still works with these values.

There may be a scaling error in the camera or in exiftool.
